How profiles are built and verified

We did the research so companies don't have to. Here's exactly how we built the network and what "verified" actually means.

Research from public professional sources

Our team researched publicly available professional information to identify fractional executives active in each metro. Source types included:

  • Professional directories for fractional and interim executives
  • LinkedIn public profiles and company websites
  • Industry association membership listings
  • Conference speaker rosters and thought leadership content
  • Consulting firm team pages and professional bios

Profile compilation with only public information

We compiled initial profiles using only information the professional had already made public in a professional context — name, title, general location, stated specializations, and publicly listed credentials. We do not purchase contact lists. We do not scrape private or gated data. We do not infer or fabricate information.

The Claim Your Profile verification process

Every executive can claim their profile to take full control of their listing. The claim process verifies identity and activates the profile for inbound engagement:

  • Identity confirmation and credential review
  • Update or correct any information on their profile
  • Add rates, service offerings, and availability
  • Activate for client inquiry and booking

Unclaimed profiles display public information only and are marked as unverified. Claimed profiles are fully managed by the executive and display a verified badge.

Ongoing quality and removal

Executives can request profile updates or removal at any time. We review profiles periodically to ensure information remains accurate and relevant. Removal requests are honored within 5 business days. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data rights.

Where exactly did the initial profile data come from?
Public professional sources: LinkedIn public profiles, professional directories for fractional executives, industry association member listings, conference speaker pages, and consulting firm websites. We did not purchase contact databases or access any private or gated information.
What does "verified" mean on a profile?
A verified badge means the executive personally went through our Claim Your Profile process — they confirmed their identity, reviewed and updated their information, and activated their listing. Unclaimed profiles show only publicly available information and are clearly marked as unverified.
I'm an executive and I want my profile removed. How?
Email privacy@hirefractional.ai with "Profile Removal Request" in the subject line and your name or profile URL. We process all removal requests within 5 business days, no questions asked.
I'm an acquirer doing due diligence. Is the network methodology clean?
Yes. All initial profiles are compiled from publicly available professional information. Active members have personally claimed and verified their credentials through our platform. Will you expand beyond these 5 metros?
Yes. We're actively researching executives in Austin, Boston, Seattle, Atlanta, and Denver. We expand a metro only after we have sufficient depth in the network — usually 40+ executives across all five core roles.
